This Renter Agreement governs your use of spaces and assets booked through the Spacenow platform. By completing a booking, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
To book assets on Spacenow, you must be at least 18 years of age, provide accurate identity and contact information, and have a valid payment method on file. Certain listings may require additional verification, business credentials, or proof of insurance. Spacenow reserves the right to reject any booking request at its sole discretion.
When you submit a booking request, you agree to pay the total amount displayed at checkout, including the rental fee, platform fee, and any applicable taxes. For Instant Book listings, your booking is confirmed immediately upon payment. For Request-to-Book listings, your payment is authorized but not charged until the Host approves your request. If the Host declines or does not respond within 24 hours, your authorization is released. All payments are processed securely through our payment processor.
You may only use a booked space or asset for the purposes stated in your booking request and permitted by the Host's listing. You agree to comply with all rules, restrictions, and access instructions provided by the Host. Any use of the space for illegal activities, activities not permitted by the Host, or activities that violate applicable law is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your booking without refund.
You will receive access instructions from the Host prior to your booking start time. You are responsible for accessing the space only during your booked hours. Unauthorized early entry or late departure may result in additional charges. You must not share access credentials with any individual not included in your booking. You are responsible for securing the space upon departure.
You agree to treat all booked spaces and assets with care and to return them in the same condition in which you found them. You are responsible for cleaning the space after use unless the Host's listing explicitly includes cleaning services. You are liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, guests, or invitees during the booking period. Spacenow may charge your payment method for documented damage up to the amount of the security deposit or, if no deposit was collected, up to the full cost of repair or replacement.
You agree not to exceed the maximum occupancy stated in the Host's listing. Exceeding stated capacity may violate fire codes and safety regulations and constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. Spacenow and the Host reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately and without refund if capacity limits are exceeded.
Your refund eligibility in the event of cancellation is governed by the Host's cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict), which is disclosed on the listing page before you book. Spacenow's platform fee is non-refundable in all cases. If the Host cancels your confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund including the platform fee. If you experience a significant issue with the space that materially differs from the listing description, contact Spacenow support within 24 hours of your booking start time.
Spacenow does not provide insurance coverage for Renters. You are solely responsible for obtaining any insurance coverage appropriate for your intended use of the space, including general liability insurance for events or commercial activities. You use all booked spaces and assets at your own risk. Spacenow is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage occurring during your use of a booked space.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of any booked space, including obtaining any required permits or licenses for events, activities, or commercial operations. You represent and warrant that your intended use of the space is lawful in the jurisdiction where the space is located.
After each completed booking, you may leave a review of the Host and the space. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your actual experience. Reviews must not contain defamatory, harassing, or false content. Spacenow reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our content policies.
